A painting made for your wall
Most of Jennifer's work is commissioned. A collector sees a painting they love and wants it larger, narrower, or in the colors of their own room — and that is exactly how the best pieces begin. She can work from a painting you love or a photograph of your wall, helping you find the right direction for your space.
A commission story
A painting for Jill and Howie
Jill and Howie had been looking for the right painting for one wall in their new home. They found Jennifer's aspens, drove to the studio, and chose a piece that could be customised with places they loved. The finished work — later titled “Content” by the collectors — was hung on their wall. Jill said it suited the house and suited them: not just a picture they bought, but a piece connected to the artist who made it.

Tell us what you love
Send the painting that caught your eye, the wall it will hang on, and anything about the room — light, colors, furniture. A photograph of the space is plenty. If you are not sure yet, Jennifer can suggest ideas and sizes for that wall.

Jennifer talks it through with you
Size, palette and composition, directly with the artist. Custom sizes are normal here — most commissions are a different size than the painting that inspired them. When you are ready, a deposit of half the commission price begins the work; the balance is due before shipping.

Jennifer paints it
Worked in thick acrylic with the palette knife — Textures of Life™ — the same way as every original. Studio time is usually about four to eight weeks, depending on size and schedule.

Approval, then it arrives
When the painting is finished, Jennifer emails photos for your approval. Once approved, it ships securely with tracking — wired and packed for safe transit, ready to hang. Local delivery can be arranged when appropriate.
